Responsibilities
We are seeking a Design Engineer (all genders) to join our team. In this role you design and develop innovative components for our hydrogen-electric propulsion systems from concept to prototype, playing a key role in turning ideas into reality:- You create concepts, drafts, and design developing 3D models
- You select materials and manufacturing methods, determine component weight, and calculate cost
- You perform stress analyses and use FEA simulations for weight optimization
- You create technical drawings for component manufacturing
- You build and test prototypes
- You prepare design documentation and manufacturing guidelines
- You inspect manufactured components to ensure quality and functionality
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Strong skills in CAD software (preferably Catia) and technical drawings
- Experience with FEA software (preferably Altair) and structural analysis
- Broad knowledge of material properties and manufacturing methods
- Mathematical understanding and spatial thinking
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with agile development processes
