Job description
Your mission
You will ensure that our remote-automated vehicles reach our customers on time and in top quality. You will assemble the vehicles in our Karlsruhe workshop and occasionally accompany the final commissioning directly at the customer's site.
You will be responsible for the professional assembly and wiring of sensors, brackets, and cameras, ensuring every vehicle is delivered ready for operation and optimized for the customer's needs.
At enabl, you don’t just tick off tasks; you bring innovation to life. Your work doesn't end at the workbench: you follow the process through to successful commissioning at the customer site, seeing firsthand how your assembled vehicles redefine the world of logistics.
What We Offer
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy flexible working hours with no shift work.
- Security: Start your journey with a permanent employment contract in a future-proof industry.
- Impact: Benefit from flat hierarchies and a true startup mindset where you can really make a difference and contribute your own ideas.
- Support: A well-coordinated team will support your onboarding and provide help and advice whenever needed.
- Environment: Bright, modern office and workshop facilities provide a pleasant working atmosphere.
- Commuting: Free on-site parking is available. Alternatively, our locations are easily accessible via public transport with your "Jobticket."
- Benefits: Take advantage of our company pension scheme.
- Fuel for Thought: A wide selection of free snacks and drinks is always available in our break room.
Your tasks
- From Forklift to Robot: You handle the mechanical assembly and wiring of sensors, cameras, and control units on our trucks. You are the one making our forklifts "smart."
- Metalworking: You manufacture brackets and perform necessary chassis adjustments, applying your MIG/MAG welding skills where needed.
- Quality Assurance: You independently check assembled components for defects and ensure that every vehicle leaves our workshop in top condition.
- Field Deployment: Following pre-assembly and commissioning in Karlsruhe, you will occasionally accompany deliveries and support our engineers during rollouts at customer sites.
- Organization: You keep track of tools and components, report shortages, and work with the workshop team to maintain a structured environment.
- Feedback & Optimization: You work closely with the R&D department, providing direct feedback on "manufacturability" to constantly improve our products and streamline your own workflow.
Your profile
- You have a strong technical understanding and manual dexterity, ideally backed by a relevant vocational qualification.
- You have practical experience in component assembly, preferably in vehicle construction, special-purpose machinery, or prototype manufacturing.
- You will primarily work in our Karlsruhe workshop but are willing to travel occasionally to our customers across Germany for commissioning or retrofitting.
- You are proficient in common welding processes (MIG/MAG) or are motivated to learn them with us.
- You are fluent in German (at least B2 level); English skills are a plus but not a requirement.
- You are flexible, eager to learn, and enjoy working with new technologies and diverse tasks.
