Who we are

Our team has more than a century of combined experience solving some of the toughest challenges in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and operations at Google, Amazon, Apple, and Facebook. We have robots operating around the world providing reliable and cost-effective short-distance material transport for our industrial customers.
The AI powering our robots makes them the safest and most reliable in the market today. Our robots are equipped with multiple sensors and cameras which allow them to stop on a dime in order to avoid collisions and choose routes which have the fewest hazards.

What you'll do
You’ll work on core systems that help us extract valuable insights from the vast amount of data that is generated by our system (robot fleet, backend, users, …). Your primary focus will be on data visualization, analytics and data pipelines.
Your responsibilities will include
- Visualization & Tooling: Setup and maintain our new BI solution and build visualizations to present insights
- Integration: Integrate visualizations into our main platform
- Data Aggregation & Analysis: Aggregate billions of rows using SQL and Python into actionable insights for customers and internal use
- Pipeline Development: Build and extend data pipelines
- Full Stack Exposure: Potential to expand into other parts of our stack, such as Cloud/Backend services or on-robot software
What you bring
You are studying Computer Science or a related field and have a strong interest in data engineering or data analytics
You are eager to dive into new technologies, ship features and maintain infrastructure
Experience with SQL and Python
Experience in Frontend and/or Backend development
Experience with BigQuery or another analytics engine is a plus
Familiarity with GCP, ElasticSearch or C++ is a plus
Availability of 20 hours per week
