M&A Intern 2027 (m/f/d) - Duration 4 - 6 month

Your tasks

In the M&A team, we advise medium-sized companies, leading private equity houses and (inter)national companies and provide them with full support in all corporate finance issues relating to company sales, capital increases and financing. Our focus is primarily on succession solutions for first-class entrepreneurs, fascinating business models and on finding the true hidden champions of the German Mittelstand. We have been able to do this successfully many times with some lighthouse transactions in the past years, more details can be found here and below.

As an M&A intern you will support with the following topics:

• You will support all process steps within the scope of M&A live transactions of medium-sized companies
• You will identify and approach investors and potential buyers
• You will create market analyses and presentations, teasers, and information memoranda
• You will support the organisation and implementation of due diligence audits
• You will prepare and evaluate business plans and company valuations
• You will participate in meetings with entrepreneurs, investors, and advisers (also for live deals)

Your Profile

• You are pursuing a degree in economics or a comparable course of study with a focus on corporate finance
• You have good knowledge in the creation of PowerPoint presentations and Excel models
• You demonstrate fast comprehension, strong analytical thinking, and a high willingness to learn
• You demonstrate a high degree of commitment, team spirit, and a good understanding of business models and economic relationships
• You have advisory skills, convincing appearance, and an analytical and independent working style
• You speak fluent German and English
