(Senior) Anti-Financial Crime Manager

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

• Management of projects relevant to money laundering prevention and/or to the prevention of other financial crime and other criminal acts, as well as sanctions regulations
• Maintaining and further developing a robust AFC control framework that aligns with the results of our institutional Risk Analysis and ensures ongoing compliance
• Driving 1st Line of Defense oversight through the execution of data-driven Quality Assurance cycles and the management of high-risk escalations, while establishing KPIs and SLAs to quantitatively measure process effectiveness and adherence to risk appetite
• Supporting the preparation of reports for management and supervisory authorities, and proactively deriving measures for constant process optimization
• Implementation of awareness-raising and training measures
• The role is part of the Financial Crime Department in the 2nd Line of Defence of control.  

 

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

• University degree in laws, economics, business informatics, social sciences or equivalent education
• Experience of +5 years in a compliance, advisory, legal, or other relevant position with a financial institution, an audit and/or consulting firm or similar
• Strong track record of creating and maintaining policies and procedures, and first hand experience with Transaction Monitoring, Investigations and Customer Due Diligence
• High tech-savviness and proficiency in SQL to extract insights and drive data-driven decision-making within the AFC lifecycle
• Fluency in English (minimum C2 level required) and at least C1 level in either German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Dutch. German at least at B2 level is a big plus.
