Your Challenge:
Working Student to join Blacklane’s People & Culture team. You will use your creativity and experience combined with our tools and processes to help achieve an outstanding employee experience and build a great office culture. This is a hybrid role, with approximately 50% of your time spent in the office.
Your responsibilities:You support the People & Culture team in all relevant HR topics and work closely with our Office Management team to create a great workplace culture
You work with People Operations colleagues to ensure a great employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding, contract management, statements and reference letters, while helping to maintain data hygiene in our HRIS (Bamboo and Workday).
You support day-to-day People Operations tasks, including data updates, documentation, and process support.
You manage day-to-day maintenance and housekeeping activities and organize cultural events such as our summer and winter parties, catered lunches, and social gatherings
While the job focuses on People Operations, it provides you the opportunity to learn about the whole HR function and processes, as well as to dip into the world of office culture—for example, by cooperating with People Business Partners in executing various talent programs
About you:
You study psychology, business administration, human resources, or another related field for at least another 2 semesters
You are available to work 15–20 hours per week and are happy to work in a hybrid setup with around 50% presence in the office
Passion. You are excited about HR and creating great workplaces in a team of highly motivated colleagues
Getting things done. You have great administrative and organizational skills, a strong service orientation, and you work easily across various office programs (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office); experience or interest in working with Workday is a plus
Taking ownership. You’re thorough with your tasks, have a high attention to detail, and work in an independent, structured, and precise way
Great communication skills. You are comfortable interacting with team members at all levels, carrying courageous conversations, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
You care about yourself, others, and your team by seeking out new ways to enhance our crew’s experience
You have a solution-oriented mindset, proposing ideas in the face of ambiguity and applying strong analytical skills
