Your mission
We are seeking a working student (all genders) to help us design and develop our battery-electric aircraft. This role is a broad role, as you will be responsible for conducting overall aircraft design activities and supporting the central engineering team. You will be part of our interdisciplinary aircraft design team and contribute directly to the design process of our battery-electric Microliner aircraft.
Your Day-to-Day
- Developing aircraft use-cases and corresponding cabin lay-outs.
- Conducting technical design trade-studies on aircraft level.
- Supporting requirements management.
- Supporting aircraft configuration management.
- Supporting safety engineering activities.
- Processing of study results and preparing for them for presentation to the team and/or external partners.
Your profile
- Ongoing master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R).
- Experience with aircraft design processes.
- Experience with CAD (e.g., 3DX, CATIA, Siemens NX).
- Experience with PLM and/or requirements management software (e.g., 3DX, Polarion, Doors).
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English; German language would be a plus.
- Positive thinking, “Can do” attitude and working nature characterized by self-initiative, solution orientation, eagerness to learn, grow and apply new skills.
- Passioned about aviation and electrification of aviation industry.
