For our Business Unit Components, we are looking for a motivated Test Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team for a duration of 12 month.

Your mission

• You will be responsible for the test, qualification and commissioning of scientific instruments. You will perform the internal and external acceptance tests.
• You are responsible for filing order-related documentation, such as internal and external acceptance tests reports. 
• You operate our instruments and test machines, conduct quality control and perform production tasks.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a scientific or technical degree, doctorate optional. Experience with ultra-high-vacuum equipment is desired.  
• Ideally, you already have experience in experimental photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS/UPS) and with UHV instrumentation 
• You have experience with the installation and testing of complex electrical and mechanical systems. 
• You enjoy working in a team and have strong problem-solving skills, are also very self-organized and goal-oriented. 
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
