Senior Full Stack Engineer – PHP/Go + Flutter (m/f/x)

Your mission

SIDES builds a cloud-based POS and payment operating system for the hospitality industry. We connect POS, payments, delivery platforms, kitchen tools, self-order solutions, apps, and webshops into one powerful, fully integrated platform - highly performant, scalable, and reliable, even under heavy load. Our tech stack: Flutter (mobile & web), Go, PHP, and AWS - including real POS hardware seamlessly integrated into our system.

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver features end-to-end in a cross-functional team, from ideation and design to implementation, rollout, and operations

• Work across the entire stack, from backend to frontend

• Use AI tools (e.g., OpenCode, Copilot) responsibly and help establish best practices within the team

• Ensure operational quality with a strong focus on performance, security, stability, scalability, and observability

• Actively contribute to architectural and design decisions

• Support and grow the team through mentoring and pair programming

• Help define and improve standards for testing, code quality, and CI/CD

• Build clean APIs, well-designed data models, and high-performance user experiences

Your profile

• Several years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer

• Strong experience in backend development with PHP and/or Go, combined with hands-on experience in Flutter

• Ability and willingness to work across both backend (PHP/Go) and frontend (Flutter) as part of a unified stack

• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality

• Solid understanding of MySQL, relational data models, and API design

• Experience with AWS and containerized deployments; Kubernetes is a plus

• Systems thinking across architectural and technological boundaries

• Independent, structured working style with strong analytical skills

• Fluency in English (required); German is a plus
