Overall responsibility for outbound transport operations in Magdeburg
Lead and coordinate the outbound transport team
Act as the primary operational contact for customers and logistics service providers
Ensure smooth daily outbound execution including planning, slot booking, and delivery monitoring
Monitor operational KPIs and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur
Ensure on-time delivery and compliance with customer requirements
Identify operational risks (capacity, cost, quality) and implement countermeasures
Coordinate closely with internal teams (Warehouse, Operations, Finance, IT)
Manage carrier performance and handle escalations
Optimize transport efficiency and cost structure
Support implementation of process improvements and standardization initiatives
Ensure continuous improvement through feedback loops with customers and internal teams, ensure smooth daily operation and issue resolutionSupport implementation of process improvements, automation and standardization initiatives

Completed commercial training in logistics, freight forwarding, or similar field
5–10+ years in transport / logistics operations
Strong understanding of German domestic logistics network (FTL/LTL, hub distribution, last mile)
Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
Fluent German and English skills
Ability to manage operational data and KPIs into actionable insights
Customer specific logistics operations
Handling complex operational escalationsExperience in team leadership and process improvement
