What you'll build

 

Product Insights & Research

• Analyze product usage patterns, customer feedback, competitive signals, and market insights
• Prepare summary findings and support the creation of product recommendations
• Contribute to product health assessments and portfolio reviews

 

Data Driven Product Management

• Assist in developing and maintaining KPIs related to product adoption, usage, customer satisfaction, and feature performance
• Support the creation and enhancement of management dashboards and reporting views
• Conduct data validation and ensure consistency across different insight sources

 

Operational & Strategic Support

• Prepare materials for internal reviews, product updates, leadership discussions, and strategy sessions
• Research and synthesize information to support portfolio planning and prioritization
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure insights are translated into actions

 

Special Projects & Exploratory Analyses

• Participate in projects that strengthen data driven product steering
• Conduct deep dive analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, or opportunity areas
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the product insights landscape

 

What you bring 

 

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and interest in data driven decision making
• First experience with analytical tools and interfaces (e.g., Excel, Databricks, SQL, R, Python, BI tools) is beneficial
• Curiosity for product management, SaaS metrics, and modern software development
• Ability to communicate insights clearly and structure complex information
• Reliable, proactive, detail oriented way of working
• Fluency in English and German
• Existing Knowledge of SAP’s organization and its products is a plus
• Working from Walldorf/St.Leon Rot or Berlin office once a week is required

We are looking for a highly motivated Working Student (f/m/d) to join our AI Portfolio Management Team, working at the forefront of SAP’s most advanced technology initiatives. In this role, you will contribute to one of SAP’s most dynamic innovation areas, supporting our AI Product Management organization with data‑driven insights that shape strategic and operational decisions across our AI product portfolio.

 

You will help turn product usage data, customer insights, and qualitative signals into clear, actionable analysis that influences product direction, strengthens transparency, and drives smarter decision‑making. Working closely with Product Managers, Portfolio Leads, Data Analysts, and cross‑functional teams, you will be directly involved in guiding how next‑generation AI capabilities evolve.

 

This role is an exceptional opportunity for students who are passionate about product management, analytics, and cutting‑edge innovation. You will gain hands‑on experience inside a fast‑paced global organization, contributing to some of SAP’s most impactful and forward‑looking AI initiatives.
