What You’ll Build 

 

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact. 

 

Position title: SAP BTP Project Management Office iXp Intern (f/m/d) - Support for analytics projects

 

Location: Berlin or Potsdam

 

Expected start date: April 1st, 2026 

 

• Contribute to data insights and analytics projects with a high focus on automation and information consolidation 
• Identify and evaluate data sources throughout the company to integrate them in dashboards and (live) reporting solutions
• Structure and design dashboards (using SAP Analytics Cloud) towards the needs and information demands of high-level management and the BTP leadership team
• Test and apply available and/or upcoming AI features in order to increase efficiency, individual tailoring and simplicity of data to action workflows
• Support project planning and administration by creating project plans, supporting task management (e.g. via tickets in Jira) and creating meaningful project reports
• Support overall efficiency improvements in project-work through automation of workflows and the creation of AI test-cases and prototypes (technical skills required, e.g. using low code or pro code business solutions)  
• Research and gain understanding of complex business problems and work on solutions, together with peers and experts throughout the company 

 

What You’ll Bring  

 

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.  

 

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences   

 

• A student (f/m/d) in Computer Science, Informatics, Business informatics, or building on comparable backgrounds, linking technical skills with business and administrational knowledge (ideally with first working experiences) 
• Ongoing master’s or postgraduate degree studies in one of the fields mentioned above (or alike)
• Language requirements: English fluent / business fluent, German (C1/C2) will be considered as a plus
• You’re an enrolled student (f/m/d) combining technical skills and business knowledge, with first experiences in (technical) project work (PM-tools, work in a project team, Programming knowledge e.g. in Java/Javascript/Python/SQL)
• You’re available for a six-month internship with the possibility of coming to an SAP office in Berlin or Potsdam at least three days a week
• High self-organizing skills and the ability to work on complex topics in a dynamic/agile setup
• Experiences with working in a project team in a tech-environment, project management experience, strong collaboration and outcome orientation are considered as a plus

Our team supports the member of the SAP extended board – General Manager & Chief Product Officer, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). We focus on execution of strategic projects with an elevated impact for the SAP BTP unit and the success of our underlaying platform, the BTP. One current focus area is the provisioning of automated analytics solutions based on live data.

 

Therefore, we concentrate our activities on four key goals:

• Improving fact-based business steering through tailored insights
• The identification and support of key projects with strategic value and critical impact
• Driving AI adoption and agent application
• The empowerment of our leadership team for best performance 

 

We are a distributed team, with colleagues working from our headquarters in Walldorf as well as from our local offices in Berlin, Potsdam, Dresden and in the United States.
