The Role & the Team

To support Roquette’s growth ambitions in the Health & Pharma Business Group, we are looking for our next Principal Customer Solutions Scientist - Capsules (M/F), ideally based in Germany (nearby Bomlitz).

Candidates based in France and living in cross‑border areas with strong fluency in German may also be considered.

At the heart of technical expertise and customer partnership, the Customer Solutions – Capsules team plays a key role in providing scientific support to our pharmaceutical and nutraceutical customers.

Your daily mission?

In this pivotal, customer facing position, you will provide expert technical-scientific support to our regional Capsules accounts, guiding customers in the optimal use of our hard capsules, supporting their innovations, ensuring their satisfaction, and directly contributing to the success of both their projects and our business through deep scientific expertise. Working in close collaboration with Technical Services & Development, Marketing, Product Line Management, and Sales, you will evolve in an international environment where science meets customer engagement.

Your Experience and Talents Will Make the Difference in:

• Serving as the primary scientific liaison for a strategic portfolio of Capsules accounts in your region.
• Providing expert technical support and application guidance on our hard capsule product portfolio.
• Building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships with customers by understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support business growth.
• Interacting with customer R&D and Procurement teams, and representing Roquette at events, tradeshows, and industry conferences.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing technical and commercial requirements.
• Building a strong internal network to respond quickly and effectively to customer inquiries.
• Acting as a technical-scientific subject matter expert on hard capsules, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Education

Master of Science (MSc) in a relevant discipline, such as Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Process Engineering, Industrial Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Experience and skills

• You bring solid experience (over 5 years) from the pharmaceutical or oral dosage form environment.
• You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, thriving in multicultural settings and with both technical and commercial counterparts.
• You are customer‑centric, proactive, energetic, and resilient when facing challenges.
• You work independently, know how to prioritize, manage several topics at once, and maintain a sense of urgency.
• You are fluent in English and the local language (German).
• The position requires being open to business travel for approximately 40–50% of the time.

Votre mission au quotidien

Dans ce poste central, en contact direct avec les clients, vous apporterez un support technico‑scientifique expert à nos comptes Capsules dans la région. Vous guiderez les clients dans l’utilisation optimale de nos produits, soutiendrez leurs projets d’innovation, garantirez leur satisfaction et contribuerez directement au succès de leurs projets ainsi qu’au développement de notre activité grâce à votre expertise scientifique approfondie.

En forte interaction avec les équipes Technical Services & Development, Marketing, Product Line Management et Sales, vous évoluerez dans un environnement international où la science rencontre l’engagement client.

Votre expérience et vos talents feront la différence en :

• Agissant comme interlocuteur scientifique principal pour un portefeuille stratégique de comptes Capsules de votre région.
• Fournissant un support technique expert et des conseils d’application sur notre gamme de gélules dures.
• Construisant et entretenant des relations de confiance durables avec les clients, en comprenant leurs besoins et en proposant des solutions adaptées.
• Collaborant de manière transverse avec les équipes internes pour garantir la satisfaction client et soutenir la croissance business.
• Interagissant avec les équipes R&D et Achats des clients, et représentant Roquette lors d’événements, salons et conférences professionnelles.
• Gérant simultanément plusieurs projets, en équilibrant exigences techniques et attentes commerciales.
• Développant un solide réseau interne pour répondre rapidement et efficacement aux demandes clients.
• Jouant le rôle d’expert technico‑scientifique de référence sur les gélules dures, auprès des parties prenantes internes et externes.

Master of Science (MSc) dans une discipline pertinente, telle que :

• Technologie pharmaceutique
• Génie des procédés pharmaceutiques
• Pharmacie industrielle
• Sciences pharmaceutiques

Expérience et compétences

• Vous disposez d’une solide expérience (minimum 5 ans) dans un environnement pharmaceutique ou lié aux formes orales solides.
• Vous possédez d’excellentes compétences en communication et en création de relations, tant avec des profils techniques que commerciaux.
• Vous êtes orienté(e) client, proactif(ve), énergique et résilient(e) face aux défis.
• Vous savez travailler en autonomie, prioriser, gérer plusieurs sujets à la fois et maintenir un fort sens de l’urgence.
• Vous parlez l’anglais parfaitement couramment et maitrisez la langue locale (allemand).
• Le poste nécessite d’être ouvert(e) à des déplacements professionnels à hauteur d’environ 40 à 50 % du temps.
