Intern Tech Transaction Advisory / Strategy (m/f/d)

What we look for:

• You will support our team of experienced advisors, learning how to provide strategic consulting and technical expertise to investors and corporate clients. 
• You will take ownership of dedicated workstreams within challenging and exciting projects, working closely alongside senior team members. 
• You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to due diligence processes, assisting in the development of technology equity stories, red-flag analyses and value creation plans, and learning how to evaluate the impact of technology on companies. 
• You will help assess a target company's system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and technical debt to identify key risks and opportunities. 
• You will analyze R&D organizational structures and product roadmaps to evaluate a target's engineering efficiency and scalability. 
• You will dive deep into different industries and SaaS business models, bringing a strong curiosity and drive to further develop your technical and analytical skills.

What we require:

• You come from either a highly technical background (e.g., computer science, engineering) or a business background with a strong focus on SaaS and digital business models.
• You are studying Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Management & Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field with excellent academic performance. 
• You possess strong analytical skills and a problem-solving capability. 
• You have initial experience in digital strategy, transaction advisory, or IT. 
• You possess foundational programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and an understanding of modern software architectures (e.g., Cloud environments, APIs, microservices). 
• You are familiar with the basic principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices (e.g., Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD). 
• You demonstrate an understanding of current technical trends (e.g., GenAI, cloud migration, data analytics) and how they might impact commercial strategies and enterprise valuation. 
• You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau) is a strong plus. 
• You stand out through excellent communication and presentation skills. 
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a highly structured way of working. 
• You are fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
