The Commercial Director / Director of Strategic Partnerships will lead Omio’s efforts to drive cross-BU strategic partnerships with large players in travel and other industries, bringing the best of Omio in material deals.
You will own the full lifecycle of Strategic partnership development — from identifying opportunities and structuring commercial terms to ensuring long-term mutual value through collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic partnerships: In general, Partnerships are done by many teams. However, this role is reserved for the needle movers, deals that drive over 10% of Group Revenue from single deals. Identify, seek, and execute large partnerships across Business Units and bring them to life. Work with teams across the company post-deal to ensure the value is materialised
- Architect and scale cross-sector ecosystem partnerships across new business sectors, may include hospitality, leisure, financial services, events, and other travel-adjacent industries, creating scalable, multi-year collaboration models that extend Omio’s platform reach and generate compounding marketplace value.
- Own commercial negotiations: Drive deal structuring, commercial terms, and partnership models that balance partner success and Omio’s growth goals.
- Strengthen strategic alliances: Manage senior relationships with industry players, ensuring alignment on growth, performance, and priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding, technical integration, and go-to-market execution.
- Market intelligence: Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to inform Omio’s strategic direction.
- Performance optimisation: Set partnership KPIs, monitor partner performance, and identify opportunities for incremental growth and innovation.
