Our carved out company fluid GmbH is a young and dynamic startup, founded in March 2025, building a cutting-edge, containerized application platform for the intellectual property industry. Our core product, fluid - Protecting Ideas Together, is a custom-built platform based on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, designed to integrate seamlessly with industry-leading IP tools, external services, and official authorities. Our architecture is modular, leveraging microservices, messaging systems, and a robust operational stack including AWS S3, Twilio Sendgrid, Kibana, Betterstack, and GitLab.Your mission
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer with a strong background in Angular to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Fluid user interface, ensuring excellent usability, performance, and scalability. Your work will directly interface with our microservice-based backend and help manage key features such as translation management, state management, and feature toggles.Specifically you will work on:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain our Angular-based frontend application
- Implement responsive and accessible UI components
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers working on Spring Boot microservices
- Integrate with 3rd party systems and APIs
- Work with product and design teams to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
- Optimize performance and scalability of the frontend application
Your profile
Requirements:- Proven experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, Ngxs or other state management frameworks)
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind and responsive design
- Experience in integrating with REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD tools
- Good understanding of frontend performance optimization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with internationalization (i18n) and translation management
- Familiarity with feature toggle systems
- Understanding of cloud-based environments
- Knowledge of the IP or legal tech
