As a Junior Analytics Engineer, you bridge the gap between raw data and meaningful insights. The position is the glue between business operations and product development and supports everyone in the company to gain meaningful insights. You will support the development of our BI ecosystem, improve data models, build dashboards, and ensure that teams across Ninox have accurate, reliable, and actionable data at their fingertips.
This role is ideal for junior candidates with strong analytical skills, solid SQL knowledge, and the ambition to grow into a full Analytics Engineer or BI Engineer role.
What You Will Do
Develop dashboards for key teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Management) using your SQL expertise
Perform deep‑dive analyses to uncover user behaviour patterns and performance drivers
Convert analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations
Support user behaviour tracking for product and marketing initiatives
Partner with stakeholders from product development and business operations to understand data needs
Educate teams on how to use dashboards, reports, and data sources you created
Be a go‑to data partner for ad‑hoc questions and strategic analysis
Improve data quality, consistency, and structure across datasets
Integrate new data sources via APIs and ETL/ELT tools
Contribute to documentation and data governance practices
Participate in designing scalable pipelines and monitoring data reliability
Your First 6–12 Months
Learn our full data infrastructure and internal datasets
Take ownership of key dashboards used by the product and leadership team
Design your first data models to improve reporting efficiency
Introduce automated checks that improve data quality
Become the main contact person for ad-hoc data requests
Contribute to building a modern BI stack and processes

Databases & Data Modeling BigQuery, MongoDB, dbt
Analytics & Visualization Power BI, Mixpanel
Data Integration & Tracking GA4, Mixpanel, custom Python scripts
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business/ Data Analytics, or a related field
1 to 2 years professional experience
Strong SQL knowledge and confidence working with databases
Data Warehouse Fundamentals
Good understanding of statistics and analytical thinking
First experience with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
Familiarity with digital analytics (GA4, GTM, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
Experience with dbt, or data pipelines
Expertise in programming languages: Python and JavaScript
Curiosity, ownership mindset, and eagerness to learn new tools & methods
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience in SaaS or user‑behavior analytics preferred
