Description
We are now looking for a React Native Engineer (f/m/d)!
You will work with us at the core of our mission: to transform the management of inflammatory conditions by empowering patients and physicians with accessible, data-driven digital solutions that improve quality of life, enable more effective care, and seamlessly integrate into clinical practice.
If you’re passionate about your craft and want to create real impact for patients with chronic diseases, Nia Health is the right place for you - we’re looking for a sharp, driven engineer to help us make that happen!
Your mission
- Development of features, bug-fixing and releasing mobile applications.
- Designing and defining the software architecture, including key components, interfaces, and technical standards to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Establishing and maintaining standards and best practices across TypeScript projects, including coding conventions, linting rules, testing strategies, tooling guidelines, and effectively leveraging AI to streamline day-to-day development tasks (e.g., faster prototyping, debugging support, test generation, and documentation).
- Overseeing overall code quality and reviewing merge requests (pull requests) to ensure correctness, readability, performance, and alignment with architectural decisions, while providing constructive feedback before changes are merged.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent.
- 2-3 years in mobile development.
- Proficient in React Native / Expo, TypeScript / CSS, Relational Database, Git, Scrum.
- Experience in building and releasing mobile apps with React Native and/or web apps with React and Next.js and in enhancing existing and building new UI elements.
- You should bring some healthy curiosity and willingness to learn with you. You should be a fast learner of new technologies, and you have an intrinsic motivation to learn about new technologies and how they could make our lives easier.
- You are fluent in English.
- You are a fast learner and bring curiosity.
Why us?
- We invest in you. We offer a steep learning curve and the opportunity to grow beyond yourself through constant feedback and a culture of continuous learning. We work with adesso to provide access to a selection of over 100 training courses.
- At the same time, we give you the freedom to develop yourself independently. Your energy and knowledge will be directed towards better care for chronically ill patients.
- Join an inviting, diverse, and international team. You have the opportunity to participate in our team events, lunches, and activities that we regularly host.
- A monthly budget that you can freely use in our Benefits app, whether for fitness memberships, wellness, or other activities.
- Subsidized company-sponsored retirement savings and the Jobrad as attractive options for salary conversion.
