Senior Sustainable Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) (Parental Leave Cover)

At KoRo, we’re building a future where sustainable sourcing is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a strategic leader to take our sustainable sourcing transformation to the next level — embedding high-impact roadmaps and HREDD/EUDR compliance into our procurement operations. This is a 14-month parental leave cover, offering you the chance to make a tangible impact in a fast-growing, dynamic company.

Your Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and rollout of KoRo’s Sustainable Sourcing Roadmap in collaboration with Procurement, Product, and other key stakeholders

• Advance Human Rights & Environmental Due Diligence (HREDD) by refining risk assessment methodologies and scaling sustainable supplier management systems

• Co-lead the integration of EUDR software and related measures across the supplier base to ensure regulatory compliance

• Lead strategic initiatives within Procurement, including defining sustainability targets and fostering long-term partnerships with key suppliers

• Facilitate the transition to direct supply chains for strategic raw materials and product groups to increase transparency and control

Dein Profil

• Deep knowledge of HREDD processes and related international standards (UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, ILO Core Labor Standards, OECD Guidelines)

• Up-to-date expertise on EUDR requirements and compliance implications

• Proven track record of developing and implementing Sustainable Sourcing strategies, preferably in the food and agricultural sector

• Strong strategic project management skills: ability to lead cross-functional transformation projects and manage diverse stakeholders

• Analytical rigor, structured thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Confidence in cross-functional collaboration; high problem-solving capability and comfort addressing conflicts when needed

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
