In this role, you will lead regulatory engagement and strategy across the European Union, ensuring alignment between rapidly evolving crypto-asset regulations and innovative financial products. You will operate at the intersection of policy, technology, and business strategy, helping shape how next-generation digital finance solutions are regulated and adopted. Working in a fast-paced, global environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external regulators to influence frameworks impacting stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and emerging technologies. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, particularly in regulatory dialogue and policy development. You will act as a key representative in shaping industry standards while supporting business expansion and compliance readiness. Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulators, policymakers, central banks, and financial intelligence units across the EU
- Monitor and analyze evolving regulatory landscapes affecting crypto-assets, stablecoins, communications technology, and AI
- Represent the organization in consultations, industry forums, workshops, and regulatory discussions
- Prepare policy papers, briefing documents, and regulatory submissions aligned with global strategy
- Identify opportunities to influence emerging regulatory frameworks in a constructive and innovation-friendly manner
- Provide regulatory insights and risk assessments to internal teams including legal, compliance, product, and business units
- Support strategic planning for new product launches and regional expansion initiatives from a regulatory perspective
- Contribute to executive reporting on regulatory trends and policy developments
Requirements:
- Strong background in regulatory affairs, legal, public policy, or government relations within financial services or technology sectors
- In-depth understanding of EU regulatory frameworks related to crypto-assets, fintech, or digital finance (e.g., stablecoins, MiCA)
- Experience engaging with regulators, policymakers, or financial authorities in a professional capacity
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business guidance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including policy writing and stakeholder presentations
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strategic mindset with the ability to influence external policy environments and internal decision-making
- Experience in blockchain, fintech, AI, or communications technology regulation is highly desirable
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
