Own CI/CD Automation: Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and automated delivery of our Java/Spring Boot and React applications to Kubernetes.
Manage Infrastructure: Implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) in partnership with the Senior SRE.
Ensure Operational Health: Collaborate on improving monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues in our production environments.
Drive Reliability: Contribute to implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance system performance, security, and stability.
Enable Product Teams: Provide tooling and guidance to product engineers, helping them adopt better operational and deployment practices.
Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and application layers, including IAM management, secrets handling, vulnerability scanning, container security, dependency monitoring, and incident response processes to ensure compliance and protection of production environments.
Engineering experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience building (as in software development) and operating production software systems in a cloud environment.
Core Technical Skills: Solid practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing services on AWS.
Automation Focus: Proven ability to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Operational Mindset: Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing systems, and a strong passion for solving operational challenges.
SRE Enthusiasm: Eagerness to learn and adopt SRE principles and work effectively alongside a Senior SRE to improve platform resilience.
Collaborative Approach: Excellent communication in English (C1) and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Cybersecurity: Strong understanding of cloud and application security fundamentals, including IAM best practices, secure network architecture, secrets management, container and dependency vulnerability scanning, and secure SDLC principles; ability to proactively identify risks and contribute to incident response and compliance efforts.
