Lead Quality Assurance

The Role

Hyntelo srl is seeking a full-time, highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our product development team in Pisa.

The candidate will have the opportunity to support the validation of new features for an advanced decision support software, requiring good organizational skills, teamwork capabilities and attention to details.

We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance to improve our software solution. You’ll be part of a team that’s responsible for the full product software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you should be comfortable around the coding language, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities:

• Work within a development team to validate outstanding new features

• Perform both manual and automated tests

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Write technical documentation

• Work with developers and analysts to improve software

• Assessing code quality

• Participating in the testing and validation of scalable software

• Participate in preparing Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases

• Writing clean, functional, and modular tests in JavaScript

• Carrying out stress testing, performance testing, scalability testing and security testing

• Diagnosing technical issues

• Redirecting findings to the appropriate resource when necessary

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field
• Knowledge of web development languages (e.g. HTML, CSS and Javascript)
• Familiarity with one or more JavaScript end-to-end testing frameworks (Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium)
• Knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. Typescript, Python, C#,  Java)
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g. MSSQL, Postgresql, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of Source Code Management systems (e.g. git)
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end frameworks is a plus (e.g. Angular, React, Vue, Python, Node.js, ASP.NET)
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and platforms is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to details
• Good organizational skills
• An analytical and solution-oriented mind
