At Huntsman we are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic Technical Service & Development Engineer – Polyurethanes (PU) Rigid Foam (m/w/n).

PUR-Systems develops and produces polyurethane systems for the construction, insulation, and packaging industries and is part of the Huntsman Group, one of the world’s leading chemical companies. Role Responsibilities: 

As a Technical Service & Development Engineer – PU Rigid Foam, you will be responsible for: 

• Provide technical support to our customers, including troubleshooting and application guidance.

• Collaborate closely with our development team and sales department, who will actively support you in this diverse and demanding role.

Our modern system house is located in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany. However, the position itself can be performed in a hybrid or fully remote setup, ideally from anywhere within Germany.

This role involves travel across Europe, with customer visits making up to 50% of your time.

Experience and Competencies: 

What we are looking for: 

• A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification

• Professional experience in the field of polyurethanes (ideally with exposure to rigid foams)

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• A strong commitment to safety and quality

• An independent and self‑reliant working style

• A high level of flexibility and resilience

• Full fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
