(Junior) Finance Manager (FP&A)

Total Compensation Range: €45,000 – €60,000

We’re looking for a driven and analytical (Junior) Finance Manager (FP&A) to join our Finance team in Berlin. In this role, you’ll take ownership of core financial planning and analysis activities, including monthly management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate data into insights that shape strategic decisions.

Your mission:
You’ll play a key role in scaling and professionalizing our Finance function. This includes continuously improving our FP&A processes, increasing automation across reporting and forecasting workflows, and leveraging modern tools including AI-driven solutions to enhance data quality, speed, and decision-making.

You’ll gain broad exposure to all of Hive’s markets, service offerings, and financial dynamics, developing a strong understanding of how each contributes to our overall business model and long-term growth.

Your responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve monthly management reporting, including KPIs, variance analyses, and business performance insights
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning, improving accuracy and transparency
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic, investment, and operational decisions
• Automate and scale FP&A processes, including improving data structures, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to enable accurate, data-driven decision-making
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate operational data into actionable financial insights

Your profile

• Relevant Experience: You bring 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a finance or analytical role, backed by a solid academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Structured thinker with a passion for numbers, able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Advanced Technical Tooling: You bring strong expertise in Google Sheets and SQL; familiarity with Lucanet, Datev, or similar finance systems is an advantage.
• Automation & Tech Mindset: You’re curious about process automation and AI, and motivated to reduce manual work through smarter tools and workflows
• Startup Mentality & Communication: Hands-on, proactive, adaptable, and confident working cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance teams.
• Fluent in English: Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting (German is a plus, not a requirement)
