Your mission
- Technical support for our high-precision laser exposure systems for industrial and academic users in semiconductor and nanotechnology
- Close cooperation with development, production and application in order to incorporate feedback from the field into product optimization
- Installation, commissioning and acceptance of complex laser exposure systems at our customers' premises - nationally and internationally
- Error analysis and rectification via remote support or directly at the customer's premises
- Maintenance and repair of existing systems according to customer specifications
- Adjustment and calibration of optical components as well as system parameterization
- Advising customers on technical expansions and modernizations of existing systems
- Support with machine upgrades, retrofitting new technologies (sensors, robotics, automation)
- Documentation of service assignments and measures according to internal standards
- Training and instruction of customer personnel and internal employees in the operation and maintenance of our systems
Possible focus on quality (Service Quality Engineer):
- Analysis and reporting of key service figures (e.g. first-time fix rate, MTTR)
- Management of customer complaints and performance of fault analyses (8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why)
- Support with internal and external audits (e.g. ISO 9001)
- Development and maintenance of a knowledge database for 'lessons learned' and fault prevention
Possible focus on projects (Service Project Engineer):
- Planning and implementation of technical projects (e.g. upgrades, retrofits, system rollouts)
- Technical coordination between service, development and customers
- Supervision of special conversions and interdisciplinary projects
- Creation of technical documentation and handovers
Possible focus on case management (Service Case Manager):
- Follow-up and coordination of complex or escalated service cases
- Systematic improvement of processing quality and response time
- Interface between customers, service management and technical teams
- Analysis and documentation of service processes, causes and measures
Your profile
- Degree or technical qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automation technology, physics or similar
- Practical experience in working with systems under cleanroom conditions (e.g. ISO 5-8) as well as knowledge of safe behavior in cleanrooms is desirable
- Experience in service assignments, project coordination or quality management
- Sound knowledge of electronics, mechanics and ideally optics and software applications
- Experience in installation, commissioning or technical field service is an advantage
- Confident handling of PC hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux) as well as configuration and diagnostic tools
- Experience in working with CRM and ERP systems (e.g. Salesforce) an advantage Salesforce) an advantage
- Analytical and structured way of working, high level of personal responsibility
- Strong communication and teamwork skills - even in complex cases
- High willingness and ability to familiarize yourself with complex special systems and technologies
- Hands-on mentality and strong customer orientation
- Willingness to travel >30%, primarily Europe, occasionally worldwide
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Valid EU class B driver's license (up to 3.5 t)
