Your Responsibilities
An external lecturer (m/f/d) for the Master course “Information and Communication Technologies in Logistics”The teaching load comprises 3 SWS (teaching units with each unit being 45 min.).
The opportunity:
To become a lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the Master course (teaching language: English), in particular:
- Principles and applications of ICT in logistics; Management of information in logistics and supply chain
- Information systems in logistics and distribution management
- Application of IS and ICT in logistics value chain
- Integration of ID technologies in logistics operations
- Business information systems, MRP, ERP, WMS
- Strategic implications of ICT in supply chain processes
- Industry 4.0 and the emergence of logistics 4.0
- Introduction to the basics of AI and Big Data
- Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievement
Your profile
- Relevant professional experience
- Place of residence must be in or near Hamburg/Germany (lectures must take place on-site or in a hybrid model; no option of teaching online)
- Completed relevant university studies (at least a Master’s degree)
- Teaching experience at universities is preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Organizational skills and willingness to work hard
- Experience working in international environments welcome
- Must be eligible for freelance work if you are a non-EU citizen, e.g. you have full- or part-time employment or are a full-time registered freelancer
