Team mission

We are looking for a growth-oriented, tech-savvy and analytically minded Project Manager. You will work closely with other business areas (f.e. Supply and Marketing) and technical stakeholders (f.e. Data Scientists, Engineers) to innovate on our complex data landscape, outline and size problems and opportunities, set out project plans and execute against them, perform analytical deep dives and maintain the quality and completeness of this data.

The mission of the Merchandising team is to curate and organize our inventory at scale throughout the entire traveler customer journey and for internal stakeholders. Together with our Product partners, we enable travelers to easily explore our marketplace through an intuitive and inspiring discovery experience.

You will specialize in the exciting foundational space of location data structures (countries, destinations, Points of Interest, activity mappings etc.) that underpin every part of our site and business.

Your mission

• Creating proposals to test, validate and scale content optimizations that impact customer experience on both sides of our marketplace (i.e. travelers and suppliers).
• Coordinating with technical counterparts on developing customer- and supplier-facing tools and metrics to measure and improve the quality of our e-commerce content and locations infrastructure.
• Coordinating and managing human model training, evaluation and other scaled operations (through our own specialized freelancers team).
• Take on and innovate upon our data management processes to bring better data structure and quality at an ever-increasing scale.
• Analyzing data to uncover opportunities and structure projects to act on them, both independently and by leveraging our scaled operations team.
• Balancing competing needs of our internal data users and external customers to find the best solutions for the business.

Your toolkit

• 4-6+ of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced, built-for-scale environment. Relevant experience could be in Product Management, Project Management or Business/Product Analytics or Consulting.
• A self-starter with excellent commercial acumen, nothing holds you back from executing with a test-and-learn mindset and ability to break down complex problems.
• Customer focus, being able to empathize with our customers and see our marketplace through their eyes (both suppliers and travelers).
• High affinity with AI and automation, hands-on exposure to human-in-the-loop workflows and content/data tooling and comfortable partnering with DS/ML functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams at all levels.
• Knowledge of SQL and BI tooling (like Looker) is a must. Knowledge of Python a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and written/verbal communication skills in English.
