Job Purpose:
To drive the overall Company performance in LATAM through the development, implementation and execution of business growth strategies via indirect channels.
To advise/implement strategic decisions and provide company insight from the sector and current/forthcoming trends in the marketplace.
To demonstrate strong analytical and project management skills along with excellent interpersonal skills, being proactive and enthusiastic about delivering great service to our clients.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Ensure sales targets are met through 3rd party and GEA distribution channels.
- Ensure sufficient training and marketing material made available for distributors representing the Company’s interests at trade shows and other events as required.
- Design, implement and maintain strategies for recruiting new distributors within the region.
- Define marketing strategies, prices, and negotiations with the major customers; Stay current with changes and enhancements to the marketplace and industry standards, develop and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
- Provide superior level customer service by providing timely product information, expertise, and service as required.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience within the agricultural livestock industry in one of the following sectors: Animal Nutrition, Genetics, Health, Equipment provision, Digital Technology
- Extensive demonstrated experience in a business development/commercial management role which has driven commercial performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and customer relationship skills A strong and established network across the LATAM livestock industry.
- Advanced level of English required, as the role involves daily communication with international teams.
