Project Manager – Anti-Friction Coatings / Low-Friction Coatings (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible management of project management in the area of anti-friction coatings

• Strategic and operational responsibility for revenue development in the CNE region (DACH, BNL, Scandinavia)

• Development of a market roadmap including pricing strategy

• Market and competitor analysis in close cooperation with SurTec International product management

• Handling and implementation of sales projects in cooperation with sales managers and the Competence Center in Munich

• Execution of own projects as well as implementation of innovative project ideas

• Support of sales through targeted customer visits, sales tools, and technical/commercial consulting

• Multiplication of successful approaches within the SurTec group

• Representation of the SurTec group and the anti-friction coatings application field through presentations, technical articles, and association work

• Knowledge transfer within the German sales network

• Point of contact for Global Product Management (GPM)

• Representation of SurTec Deutschland GmbH at trade fairs and industry events

Qualifications:

• Completed engineering degree, ideally in mechanical engineering, coatings engineering, or chemical engineering; alternatively, technician or industrial foreman in mechanical engineering

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience or practical experience in functional coatings gained during studies

• Knowledge in coatings and/or the screw industry is an advantage

• Entrepreneurial personality with a customer-oriented mindset

• Analytical thinking, independent and responsible working style

• Resilience, flexibility, teamwork skills, and determination

• Confident appearance, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of networking

• Solution-oriented working approach and perseverance

• Willingness to travel including overnight stays, and a valid driving license (Class B)

• Fluent German and English language skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); SAP knowledge is an advantage
