Responsibilities:
- Defining, supporting, and further developing measurement methods and processes
- Executing, optimizing, and documenting quality improvement measures
- Optimizing statistical process control (basic knowledge in Power BI)
- Independently conducting root cause analyses in collaboration with internal stakeholders on the shop floor
- Planning, evaluating, and implementing new measurement methods and technologies
- Managing and further developing quality‑relevant equipment
- Serving as the central point of contact for questions regarding measurement execution, selection of measuring equipment, and procurement of measurement tools
- Conducting internal and external trainings in German and English
Qualifications:
- Completed technical degree, e.g., metrology, physics, or similar; ideally with solid experience in subtractive manufacturing
- Very good MS Office skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing‑related inspection and testing methods (e.g., CMM, optical methods) as well as common quality methods (e.g., 5 Why, A3, 8D, RCA)
- Solid knowledge of statistical procedures and methods
- Solid knowledge of measurement system analyses and validation concepts
- Good technical understanding of engineering drawings and bills of materials
- Initial programming experience (e.g., Zeiss Calypso or basic CAD/CAM knowledge)
- Experience in project management
- Independent, well‑structured working style
- Confident appearance internally and externally
- Flexibility, teamwork skills, assertiveness
