Team Lead Python Backend Engineer (F/M/D)

What you do

• You are Lead of a cross-functional engineering team and take responsibility for developing, testing and maintaining the backend applications of our product  (70% management, 30% coding)
• You continuously improve our modern tech stack and shape our architecture
• You receive mentorship from an experienced CTO with room to grow 
• You  ensure high-quality maintainable code with code reviews, CI/CD and agile development processes 
• You help in managing our cloud environments, including AWS and CI/CD

Who you are

• You have 6y+ technical experience in backend development and building APIs
• You have coding experience in Python (or other languages and openness to switch to Python)
• You have good understanding of Docker, AWS and services around it
• You solved production emergencies in the past and have experience how to avoid them
• You have good written and verbal communication skills in English
• You have strong management and leadership skills with a proven track of record in leading teams 
• You have experience with distributed teams as a plus
