Your tasks will include:
- Consulting on regulatory and compliance-related matters, particularly in the context of Non-financial risk management and regulations typical of the financial sector, such as KYC/AML, MiFID II, and WpHG. Current topics include DORA, AIFMD II / LMT NIS2 and EU AI Act.
- Analyzing and interpreting regulatory requirements and deriving concrete actions for our clients
- Designing and implementing solutions to ensure and operationalize compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. governance models, control frameworks, process and IT adjustments)
- Conducting risk and gap analysis to assess regulatory compliance levels
- Analyzing and managing non-financial risks (Non-Financial Risk Management), especially in the areas of ISM, BCM, ICT- and Third-Party risks, compliance, and reputational risk
- Operational line support throughout the project, to compensate for capacity bottlenecks or as interim management
- Depending on your experience, taking on partial project responsibility or independently leading complex projects, including team steering, quality assurance and client communication
- Further developing methodologies, frameworks and tools within the Regulatory & Compliance practice
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the Governance, Risk & Compliance competence area at Eraneos
Who you are
You are combining an analytical mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and enjoy turning complex regulatory challenges into pragmatic, implementable solutions.
In addition to initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset, you bring the following qualifications:
- A successfully completed university degree (e.g. in Business, Finance, Law, Industrial Engineering or a related field)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Financial Services, ideally in consulting or within the financial services industry with a focus on Regulatory or Compliance topics
- Solid expertise in one or more of the following areas: Non-Financial Risk Management, ISM, BCM, outsourcing/third-party management, compliance, securities regulation, IT security, and AI regulation
- Strong analytical and structured thinking as well as a high level of problem-solving competence
- Professional appearance, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for project work
- Excellent German and English skills
- Willingness to travel
