Your mission
In this role, you play a key part in shaping EDRI’s cross-country electricity procurement portfolio by analyzing energy supply contracts, assessing price and volume risks, and ensuring a transparent and compliant risk framework
- You analyze and compare electricity supply contracts and trades across multiple EU markets (including country-specific models, certificates and PPAs)
- Assessment of energy price, volume, and hedging strategies, deriving relevant insights
- Development and maintenance of the risk framework (exposure, scenarios, KPI steering)
- Preparation of exposure reports, scenario analyses, and structured KPI tracking
- Design and optimization of dashboards and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Databricks)
- Analysis of grid fees and invoices, as well as support of grid charge and contract calculation
- You contribute to audit and compliance processes while ensuring audit-proof documentation
- You work closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Markets, and international teams on project-based topics
Your profile
- You hold a degree in Business, Finance, Energy Economics, or a comparable field
- You have prior experience in energy, risk, or analytical environments
- You work in an analytical and structured manner and enjoy translating complex topics into clear insights
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI; familiarity with reporting and data quality tools
- You are confident working across different systems; experience with contract management or energy market risk tools, as well as SQL and Python, is a plus
- You communicate confidently in German and English
- A self-driven, reliable working style and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities distinguish you
