We are seeking a Senior Manager, FinTech Strategy & Performance to join our team in Berlin, supporting the company’s journey to deliver best-in-class payment and financial services experiences.
Be part of the team shaping our FinTech strategy and execution in around 65 markets worldwide. In this role, you will drive high-impact initiatives that improve FinTech P&L performance, accelerate merchant and customer adoption, strengthen unit economics, and unlock new growth vectors across payments, wallet, lending, and other financial services products. Working closely with central FinTech leadership, regional teams, and local markets, your work will directly influence prioritization, investment decisions, and delivery quality at global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small, high-impact Strategy & Performance team, setting clear direction, coaching team members across analytical and strategic topics, and act as a connective layer across HQ, subsidiaries and other functions.
- Partner with the C-level and global FinTech leadership at corporate HQ in Berlin to define strategy, set priorities, and ensure high-quality execution across markets.
- Lead cross-functional projects spanning Product, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Risk/Compliance, Legal, Data, and local market teams to improve FinTech operational and financial performance.
- Own planning and performance cycles (e.g., annual/quarterly business planning, forecasting, and budget inputs) for FinTech, partnering with functional and entity teams to define profitability, growth, and efficiency targets.
- Build and maintain financial and business models for complex FinTech topics.
- Identify, implement, and scale best practices across markets.
- Translate data into insights and executive-ready narratives, packaging recommendations on critical topics (e.g., investment cases, performance gaps, strategic trade-offs, and market expansion readiness) for senior decision-makers.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on FinTech performance, strategic initiatives, key projects, risks, and progress toward annual goals.
- Support strategic partnerships and build-vs-buy decisions by evaluating external providers and developing business cases, negotiation support, and implementation roadmaps.
