Autobahn Platform

Autobahn is the Deutsche Bank’s digital platform for Corporate and Investment bank, enabling seamless delivery of 800 core business services to more than 200000 internal & external users through UI and API channels. Autobahn is continuously recognised by the clients as state-of-the-art product with multiple industry awards over recent years. Consolidated architectural vision and technical execution creates significant efficiencies for Deutsche Bank and consolidates strong technology expertise across multiple groups and teams.

As a technical platform, we  streamline the delivery of apps and services to end users, addressing many common technical, security and regulatory requirements. For end users, we provide a unified access  to a universe of services offered by Deutsche Bank in a consistent but personalised manner. Advanced behaviour analytics and quantitative UX helps to tailor user experience further for individual needs and purposes and continuously improve on our products. Platform covers Desktop, standalone Web, Mobile, IM and API channels and has a diverse suite of core service to support individual businesses and applications. Due to a diverse nature of the platform, we operate across different languages technologies such as JS/React, Kotlin/Java, Swift & .NET  and operate in Agile delivery model.

You will be part of Autobahn Platform Desktop team which is a responsible for building one of main and perspective channels for a platform as well as building out Magneto – cross process window management framework used by multiple applications. You are going to work with very strong professionals on state of art platform for other teams to build upon their offerings: Magneto framework, Autobahn Toolbar, and Plexus interoperability framework we have opensourced to github.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead within the .NET / Windows / WPF ecosystem, providing direction and guidance on design and implementation topics.

• Take ownership across the full development lifecycle, including technical concept, implementation, review, and production readiness.

• Lead collaboration with QA and BA teams to define, refine, and validate functional and non‑functional requirements.

• Serve as a key technical contact for other development teams using the framework and container APIs, supporting integration and adoption.

• Drive the definition and evolution of user interfaces in close collaboration with the UX team, ensuring consistency and usability.

Your skills and experiences

• Deep and comprehensive expertise in the .NET framework and C#, including advanced language features, architectural patterns, and best practices.

• Strong and applied knowledge of data structures and algorithms, used to design efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Many years of hands‑on experience in designing and building high‑performance desktop applications, with responsibility for technical quality and long‑term maintainability.

• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, applied to complex technical challenges and system‑level decisions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective technical leadership, stakeholder alignment, and knowledge sharing within and across teams.
