About The Team

You’ll be joining the Joybuy team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We are looking for a driven and hands-on (Senior) Category Manager to support the development of our FMCG (Personal Care, Health & Wellness, Baby, Pets, Household & Laundry & Toys) assortment for the German market.

You will play a key role in building and optimizing your category from day one — selecting the right products, shaping the offer, and contributing directly to the growth of a fast-scaling e-commerce business.

This is a unique opportunity to join a project built from scratch, with real ownership and impact on commercial performance.

What you will do:

• You select and curate the best products and brands for your category, ensuring a competitive and relevant assortment for German consumers

• You lead the end-to-end implementation of new products and brands, from sourcing and onboarding to launch and performance tracking

• You contribute to the development and execution of category strategies, including pricing, promotions, and assortment optimization

• You monitor key business metrics (sales, margin, conversion, traffic) and identify opportunities to improve category performance

• You analyse customer behavior, feedback, and market trends to refine the offer and enhance the user experience

About You

• 4 to 10 years of experience in one or several categories of FMCG, ideally from the retail or e-commerce side

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the German market and consumer behavior

• Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking.

• Effective communicator with a passion for continuous learning.

• Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organisational goals.

• Fluent in English and advanced level at minimum in German

• Based in Düsseldorf (preferred) or open to Berlin
