As the HPS Lead (m/f/d) Europe, you will be part of the Heraeus Supply Chain Excellence Team – the internal consultancy driving transformation across the Heraeus Group. You will work with European sites from various industries – from medical technology to quartz glass – and drive the development and implementation of the Heraeus Production System (HPS) with passion, expertise, and measurable results.

Your Role – Shaping Operational Excellence:
In this role, you take responsibility for embedding and advancing the HPS culture across Europe. Your focus is on sustainable value creation, not short-term fixes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Further develop, implement and actively drive the Heraeus Production System (HPS) across European sites
• Lead and coordinate HPS assessments regionally and conduct site-level assessments annually
• Promote a regional Lean community and foster exchange of best practices
• Support the Six Sigma trainings (Yellow, Green, Black Belt) in Europe
• Coach teams and leaders to embed a sustainable lean culture and mindset
• Drive your own initiatives and support regional performance improvement projects
• Collaborate closely with business unit and site leadership as well as global excellence peers
• Take ownership of additional high-impact, strategic topics

 

Your Profile – Expertise That Inspires:

• Several years of experience in operations or operations consulting
• Certified and experienced Master Black Belt with strong Lean & Six Sigma track record
• Proven ability to lead Six Sigma trainings and deploy the HPS framework
• Confident communicator across all levels – from shopfloor to executive board
• Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management capabilities and cross-functional collaboration mindset
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel within Europe (flexible depending on project needs)
• Hands-on approach, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sustainable excellence
• Proximity to Hanau is advantageous
