Senior AI & Data Architect (f/m/x)

We actively drive AI transformation as part of BMW Group IT. Our team of strategists, architects, and developers designs innovative data and AI platforms and implements projects that create tangible value for customers and the organization.

What awaits you?

• You design the architecture of our AI and data platforms and ensure their continuous development – from the initial idea to productive operation.
• Additionally, you advise business units and departmental IT on developing data and AI strategies and collaboratively identify innovative, scalable use cases.
• You support and drive the implementation of lighthouse use cases, develop solution architectures, and implement them together with the IT departments of the business units into operational use.
• You also link platform and application development, define interfaces, and ensure that new requirements are directly integrated into our AI and data platforms.
• Among other things, you integrate AI components, knowledge graphs, and ontologies into our platforms and ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Last but not least, you shape the future of software development through AI-supported development processes, agents, and automation.

What should you bring along?

• University degree in (business) informatics with a focus on AI or a comparable qualification.
• At least five years of experience in designing and implementing complex AI and data architectures with in-depth knowledge of modern cloud and platform architectures as well as building scalable AI and data solutions.
• Experience in deploying and co-developing cross-organizational platform solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data integration, orchestration, quality and governance, with an understanding of IT-security, data protection and compliance in handling sensitive data.
• Experience in technical leadership and working in an agile environment, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly, with strong communication and consulting skills. Independent and solution-oriented working style.
• Very good German and English skills.
