Our Tech Excellence team at the BMW Group Financial Services explores and pilots AI use cases globally. Together with IT, we drive innovation and transformation in Financial Services. During your internship, you will gain valuable insights into AI-driven process optimization and support our international projects.

 

What awaits you?

• You will support the development, experimentation, and evaluation of AI models for Financial Services, with exposure to Agentic AI.
• Furthermore, you help with architectural documentation and design discussions, contributing to building blocks for the AI landscape.
• Moreover, you will help to use and maintain MLOps pipelines, tools, and BMW Group AI platforms for reliable prototypes.
• You contribute to prototyping and piloting AI models that enhance Financial Services processes.
• Furthermore, you support compliance activities by following processes, preparing documentation, and participating in model reviews.
• In addition, you collaborate with global stakeholders to gather requirements, share results, and align with strategic goals.
• Moreover, you stay curious about AI technology trends and share insights to help the team adopt new approaches.

 

What should you bring along?

• Studies in AI, data science, computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics or a related field.
• Solid Python programming skills and familiarity with machine learning libraries; MLflow experience is a plus.
• Interest in GenAI and multi-agent AI architectures; experience with LangChain or LangGraph is a plus.
• Understanding of core machine learning models and their evaluation.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS and/or Azure) and MLOps fundamentals is a plus.
• Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools is an advantage.
• Business-level fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
