We mean it when we say “cutting edge” and have a high level of creative freedom in our everyday work.
You will be surrounded by like-minded, driven, skilled, and highly motivated people who are keen to contribute to successful solutions.
We mean diversity, and we put it in numbers: 130+ people, 36 languages, 35% female (vs. ø26% in the tech industry), ø33 years of age, and yes, we do have Schlager-Fans among us.
We have a very supportive and appreciative working environment with a lot of autonomy, a flat hierarchy, and professional growth possibilities.
We work in a hybrid mode, with weekly team days for better collaboration and nurturing interpersonal connections. When onsite, we work in a modern, kid- and pet-friendly Better Space in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Remote work from anywhere for up to 12 weeks in total per year.
30 vacation days in a 5-day/week working model.
Kindergarten grant and a Company Pension scheme.
Regular team breakfasts, fitness & wellness classes, company runs, and other events. Fruits, snacks, drinks, and coffee with a variety of milk are a given - but yes, we have them.
Outstanding flexibility we are proud of – and, of course, the best colleagues in the world!
About Better Planner Tribe:
Better Planner is the newest product in the Bettermile suite, built to redefine how logistics operations plan, predict, and execute. Our mission is to turn complex operational data into precise, automated decisions. AI that solves essential, real-world problems at scale. You will be part of an experienced, fast-moving, highly collaborative, and flat-hierarchy team.
We are looking for a QA Specialist who can pair innovation with practical execution. The product is only at its inception, giving you substantial influence over its direction and the opportunity to shape a system that will drive the next years of parcel logistics intelligence!
Currently, our engineers are doing their own manual testing, and we’ve reached the limit of that model. We are yet to build a structured quality process in Better Planner, and we need you to move us from ad-hoc checks to a world-class testing practice. You won’t just be finding bugs; you’ll be building the safety net for our most critical products.
Our current tech stack: Kotlin, NodeJS, React, AWS, Snowflake, Dagster
Building our QA practice from the ground up, moving the tribe from an unstructured environment to a professional, reliable process.
Setting up the test management tools and suites yourself to replace current ad-hoc manual checks with a scalable system.
Owning the release cycle, from deep-diving into new features to running the full manual regression suite before each release.
Testing across the entire stack, from React web and mobile apps to API validation with Postman and physical device connections.
Experimenting with AI agents and next-gen tools to find ways to automate your own repetitive tasks and optimize the workflow.
3+ years of experience in QA roles within fast-paced tech environments.
Technical expertise in manual testing across the stack, including web apps, mobile apps, and deep-dive API testing.
Experience owning full-cycle testing, including regression testing. You acted as the primary quality gatekeeper within high-velocity, weekly release schedules.
Strong bug lifecycle management and prioritization skills, with a focus on reclaiming engineering capacity and ensuring production stability for a critical product.
Intrinsic curiosity about AI and "Agentic" engineering, with a tinkerer’s mindset for exploring how to optimize and automate your own manual workflows.
Demonstrated ability to build a QA practice from scratch, moving the tribe from unstructured testing to a professional, documented process without a pre-existing playbook.
Domain knowledge in logistics.
Past experience with test management platforms like Squash TM or TestRail.
Interest and availability to travel to Depots around Europe and experience/evaluate the impact of our solutions in the real world.
Be a part of shaping a fast-growing industry and make an impact from day one. You’ll have the chance to take on responsibility early, with guidance and support from experienced mentors. We foster a learning culture, collaboration on equal footing, and quick decision-making that moves things forward.
Currently, we’re proceeding only with candidates authorized to work in Germany or who already hold a Job Seeker Visa.
At Bettermile, we believe delivery shouldn’t be business as usual. We’re transforming last-mile logistics to drive efficiency and create a better delivery experience for everyone.
Our geo-based, AI-powered SaaS product handles complex address processing, dynamic routing, and navigation. It is built to manage many stops and multiple constraints.
We’re setting a new standard for the last mile and pushing the industry forward, powered by a skilled, international team of tech enthusiasts, logistics experts, and a product suite designed to keep evolving.
