BayWa r.e. Data Services GmbH – a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa r.e. AG – is responsible for all data related topics in the BayWa r.e. group. We operate control centres in Europe and APAC, ensure a cyber secure connection to the assets worldwide, deliver cutting-edge data analytics products, and recently took responsibility for the operation on Battery Systems in Europe. To support our Management and Finance team, we are looking for a Junior Finance Manager (all genders).

What You will do

• Monthly financial reporting and controlling support

• Project and cost centre controlling and variance analysis

• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting

• Support in managing cash flows, including liquidity planning

• Deliver data for customer invoicing, incl. allocation keys according to Transfer Pricing rules for internal customers

• Support accounting processes, like intercompany reconciliation or document preparation for the Tax department and auditors  

• Contribution to process automation and digitalisation of the Finance function

• Corporation and representation of the Senior Finance Manager 

What You need to succeed

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or equivalent (Bachelor minimum)

• First practical experience in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting (internship, working student, or 1–2 years professional experience)

• Solid command of Excel Sheets; experience with ERP or controlling tools is a plus

• Strong analytical and structured working style

• Affinity for digital tools and process improvement

• Good command of German and English (written and spoken)

• High degree of self-organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing the detail

• Discretion and professional judgement when handling confidential business information

• Interest in renewable energy and the energy transition is strongly preferred
