(Senior) Investigator / (Senior) Investigation Lawyer (m/f/d) at Allianz SE

Who will you join?

The Investigation & Reviews team drives Compliance and Targeted Reviews across Allianz Group and establishes a global investigation framework, including oversight of whistleblowing processes and internal investigations.

 

As a Senior Investigator, you will lead complex investigations, uphold compliance standards, and foster a culture of integrity and transparency across the organization.

 

 

How can you make an impact?

• Lead complex compliance investigations as part of the rapid reaction task force
• Assess, prioritize, and execute investigations, collaborating with Regions, Global Lines, and other entities
• Provide expert guidance to Compliance Officers at all levels and ensure resolution through monitoring, follow-up, and escalation
• Share insights and lessons learned to continuously improve investigation processes
• Develop and refine governance frameworks and policies for investigations and whistleblowing, ensuring alignment with industry standards
• Advise on governance matters to strengthen organizational integrity
• Drive initiatives to enhance awareness and effectiveness of the SpeakUp! program
• Ensure accurate data management in the Compliance Case Management Tool (CCMT)
• Analyze case data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
• Prepare and present investigation reports to senior management and respond to external information requests (e.g., media, audits, sustainability reports)
• Support Integrity Committee activities, including preparing reports, minutes, and fulfilling obligations under its Terms of Reference

 

 

What are you made of?

• At least 2 years of proven experience managing and conducting complex investigations, ideally with international exposure
• Strong expertise in remediation and mitigation in a global, multicultural environment
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, including senior management, in a multicultural setting
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new knowledge in digital tools, investigative methodologies, laws, and regulations
• Knowledge of the insurance industry is an advantage
• Fluent English (additional languages are a plus) with excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Results-driven team player with a strategic and innovative mindset
• Willingness to work across time zones and travel internationally
• High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
• German fully qualified lawyer is a plus
• Experience in insurance, asset management, consulting, digital/tech, or applying Generative AI and Ethical AI solutions is a plus
