Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Center, UK, is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

The position is to be filled in Neuburg (Germany).
In Finance, we act as the central interface of Audi Formula Racing GmbH, ensuring that all departments are provided with the appropriate budgets and required resources. We also ensure that clear framework conditions and relevant KPIs are made transparently available for effective operational management.
Your Mission
- Business partner for Technical Development: Responsibility for cost planning, forecast preparation (VSI process) and analyses in close collaboration with the department management and other controllers
- Preparation and analysis of monthly reports, variance analyses as well as ad‑hoc reports in cooperation with the specialist departments for the department management and executive management
- Independent execution of month-end closing activities
- Conducting profitability analyses and make-or-buy evaluations to support decision-making
- Design, development and continuous improvement of controlling processes and methods in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including active support of AFR projects
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as Purchasing, Development, Logistics, IT, Accounting and external partners
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Business Administration (ideally with a technical focus), Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the financial steering of departments or organizations, ideally in technical development
- Sound knowledge in the evaluation of concepts, processes and investments, including profitability analyses as well as make‑or‑buy decisions
- Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP (FI, CO, MM); knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to present complex issues in an understandable way
- High level of initiative, ability to work in a team, as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
- Enjoyment in designing and optimizing processes and methods
- Business‑fluent German and English skills
