Internship Private Equity Consulting (m/f/d)

As an intern in private equity transaction consulting, you will be closely involved and experience the entire consulting process of the pre-deal period first-hand. You will actively participate in projects and collaborate with experts from the specialist department. Your daily tasks will include researching and preparing the data and findings obtained, gaining insights into project management, and conducting expert interviews independently. 

In addition to comprehensive professional onboarding, from day one you will gain deep insights into the transaction business and the private-equity industry.

YOUR TASKS

• supporting renowned European private-equity funds in the mid-to-lower-lage-cap segment in the creation of commercial due diligence reports 
• assisting investors throughout the entire M&A lifecycle in strategic decision-making (target screening, industry assessment, value creation)
• developing market models, validating business plans, and contributing to the financial evaluation of potential target companies
• conducting primary and secondary research for market, customer, and competitor analyses, including expert interviews
• managing and expanding an investor database and contributing to the design of a deal database
• identifying investment opportunities as part of target screening
