Your Impact
At aleno, we’re building the most powerful operating system for the hospitality industry.As our Manager Social Media, you will own and grow aleno’s organic social presence across the DACH region.
You’ll create authentic, high-quality content that connects with restaurateurs and hoteliers, showcases the people and stories behind aleno, and strengthens our position as the most human, modern and community-driven tech partner in hospitality.
You are the creative engine behind aleno’s social presence - producing, filming and shaping content that feels real, modern and rooted in the hospitality world.
Your goal: build strong brand awareness and an engaged community throughout the German-speaking hospitality market.
Your work will directly shape how the industry sees us - driving visibility, credibility, and brand love across our most important channels.
Your Responsibilities
- You own your channels: from planning and content creation to community management and performance tracking.
- Creator at heart: comfortable being on camera, filming others and turning raw footage into compelling content.
- Own and execute aleno’s organic social media presence - mainly Meta and LinkedIn, but also YouTube & TikTok
- Plan, create and publish high-quality content: short-form video, photos, carousels, stories, and written posts in aleno’s brand voice
- Maintain a consistent posting cadence and manage the content calendar end-to-end
- Capture authentic stories from our customers, partners, the gastronomy community, events, and our internal teams
- Travel regularly across the DACH region to produce on-site video and photo content (restaurants, fairs, partner events)
- Drive daily community management: comments, messages, mentions, engagement
- Collaborate closely with Marketing Managers, Sales, Customer Success and Management
- Monitor trends and proactively test new formats, creative ideas, hooks, and video styles
- Ensure a consistent brand tone, visual identity and message across all channels
- Track key KPIs (engagement, reach, follower growth, content performance) to continuously improve
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in SaaS, tech, hospitality, or a fast-paced digital environment
- Strong hands-on content creation skills - especially short-form video (shooting + editing)
- Comfortable being on camera and interacting naturally with people at events or in restaurants
- Confident using tools like Canva, CapCut and AI tools for quick, high-quality content creation
- Excellent writing skills with a strong feel for brand voice, storytelling and authenticity
- High willingness to travel (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) to capture content on site
- Independent, creative, structured and self-driven way of working
- Confident in using social media analytics tools and deriving insights
- Fluent in German (C1+) and English (B2+)
