As a (Senior) Finance Automation Specialist (f/m/d), you focus on scaling and modernizing the finance setup to support a growing platform business while driving improvement initiatives across accounting processes and platform transactions. A key responsibility is identifying manual bookings and automating them, while ensuring audit- and IKS-ready documentation of all financial transactions and their end-to-end flow. The role continuously drives further automation opportunities across finance teams.
Finance-technical documentation of all financial transactions on our platform and their flow through the books
Set up processes and documentation to be ICS and audit-ready
Implementation of optimization projects for financial transactions on the platform
Optimization of payment-related processes in collaboration with the relevant teams
Review and optimization of existing processes related to source systems in Accounting
Identification of manual processes in Accounting and identify opportunities for automation to minimize any manual bookings related to source systems
Extensive experience in finance
Solid experience with platform-based business
Solid experience with big data processing
Solid experience with e-commerce
Strong analytical skills
Experience with optimizing and implementing (new) financial processes
Excellent written and spoken English / German preferred
