In this role:
We are currently looking for a Senior Controller for the Group Consolidation area. In this role, you will take ownership of consolidation processes and act as a key contributor to financial reporting, compliance, and business insights.

Meet your Team:
This position is based at VELUX Group Business Services in Warsaw, where you will work closely with the Group Consolidation Team headquartered in Denmark. Locally, you will join the Accounting & Reporting Team in Warsaw, known for its professionalism, extensive expertise, collaborative spirit, and great sense of humor. You will become part of a community of highly skilled professionals recognized for their dynamic cooperation, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities

Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end controlling and group consolidation processes.

Prepare and review consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations, and reporting in SAP/BPC.

Support budgeting and forecast activities

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including cash flow and management reporting.

Responsible for tax accounting and reporting activities, including deferred tax, tax rate calculations, Pillar 2, and CbCR.

Analyze financial results and provide reporting and insights to Group Finance and management.

Coordinate reporting deadlines and collaborate with local finance teams and external stakeholders.

Support audit processes and maintain high-quality documentation and controls.

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and finance projects

Ad hoc questions and investigations
Our requirements

Educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Extensive experience in accounting, including proven experience in group consolidation processes, preferably from a business partnering perspective

Experience working with SAP; familiarity with the BPC tool will be considered an advantage

Very good command of English, both written and spoken

Willingness and ability to share knowledge and support other team members

Strong communication skills and a constructive, solution-oriented mindset

A proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail, a high sense of ownership, and a strong work ethic

Availability and willingness to participate in occasional business trips (up to 10 days annually)
