To support our expansion on a project for Bose in the Automotive domain, we are looking for a Senior/Lead System Engineer with strong experience in requirements engineering, interfaces, and stakeholder collaboration in complex embedded systems.
About the project
Bose Automotive delivers premium audio hardware and software for the global automotive industry. The work focuses on building and evolving software for modern “up‑integrated” automotive audio systems and platforms, developed in close collaboration with Bose engineering stakeholders.
Role

Lead and facilitate requirements elicitation with Bose stakeholders: clarify scope, priorities, constraints, and assumptions.
-
Translate stakeholder needs into structured system requirements, interfaces, and verifiable acceptance criteria.
-
Maintain requirements quality, consistency, testability, and “definition of ready” for implementation and validation.
-
Own traceability between stakeholder needs, system requirements, and downstream work items; support verification planning.
-
Manage requirements change control and stakeholder alignment across teams using modern collaboration toolchains (e.g., Jama + Jira/Confluence‑style ways of working).
-
Contribute to improving system engineering practices (templates, review checklists, quality gates, and lightweight governance).
What we expect (must‑have)
-
Hands‑on experience with requirements elicitation, capture, clarification, and decomposition for complex systems.
-
Ability to write high‑quality system requirements, interfaces, and acceptance criteria (clear, structured, and verifiable).
-
Proven practice in maintaining requirements quality, traceability, and change control across stakeholders and teams.
-
Familiarity with requirements management and collaboration toolchains used in embedded/automotive contexts (e.g., Jama +
-
Jira/Confluence‑style collaboration).
-
English communication at professional working proficiency.
Nice to have
-
Experience with formal System Engineering / Automotive process work products (e.g., ASPICE‑style artifacts).
-
Experience with Enterprise Architecture practices or any SysML / architecture modeling tool.
-
Background in embedded/automotive environments where requirements must remain testable, traceable, and aligned with verification.
Why join us
-
Work on Bose Automotive products with real impact on end‑user quality and experience.
-
Take a key technical leadership role shaping how requirements and interfaces are built and maintained in a modern embedded environment.
