Job Summary
The Lead (Field) Service Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations. This role performs a variety of maintenance and technical support tasks and may provide onsite training to customer support personnel.
This job profile is intended for experienced support-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations. Position Objective: to ensure high-quality service in the maintenance and repair of equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites, as well as to resolve technical issues in coordination with the Workshop Manager and the service center team.
**Your main tasks and responsibilities: **

Carry out the tasks assigned by the Team Leader, delivering high-quality service to company clients in both mechanical and electrical areas (commissioning, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and automation). (Applicable to 1st and 2nd Level Technicians depending on complexity.)

Assist the Workshop Manager or 1st Level Technicians in problem-solving tasks. (2nd Level Technician)

Provide technical solutions to day-to-day issues in coordination with the Workshop Manager. (1st Level Technician)

Supervise installations, assemblies, and commissioning works performed by Sulzer's external suppliers in the area, following instructions from the Workshop Manager. (1st Level Technician)

Act as the liaison with the sales team in their area, supporting them when needed with technical site visits for measurements, assessments, studies, etc., especially when the complexity of the quote/project requires it. (1st Level Technician)

Collaborate in the extraction and maintenance of drainage wells.
**To succeed in this role, you will need: **

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electromechanical Technician in the industrial sector.

Vocational Training (Intermediate or Higher Level) in Electromechanics or equivalent professional experience.

Mechanical and electrical knowledge required.

Hydraulic knowledge is a plus.

Ability to interpret manuals, exploded views, and technical drawings.

Familiarity with equipment, accessories, and assembly components for sales.

User-level proficiency in MS Office environment.

English knowledge is a plus.

Valid driver’s license required.
