Join our Water & Industry Business Unit and be part of a global team delivering high-impact pumping and rotating equipment solutions. Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced **Sales Manager, Water and Wastewater **to lead sales activities across Greece, Cyprus, and Israel for our Water and Industrial Business Uni. The role focuses on developing long-term customer relationships, identifying and converting commercial opportunities, and delivering tailored pumping and rotating equipment solutions within the water industry.
You will represent Sulzer in front of key customers, manage complex technical and commercial engagements, and consistently achieve agreed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers across the assigned territories

Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline and key account strategy

Visit customers regularly, lead project discussions, and deliver technical presentations on the Sulzer Water portfolio

Prepare technical and commercial quotations with support from tendering teams

Negotiate contracts and support project order wins

Work closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, project management, and global Sulzer WIBU offices

Coordinate with local agents in Greece, Cyprus, and Israel

Prepare structured handover documentation to Project Management and support delivery through to contractual completion
Requirements:

Strong technical and commercial acumen within the water industry

B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

10+ years’ experience in the water industry, including 7+ years living and working in Greece

Proven experience in technical sales, proposals, or tendering functions

Strong ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents

Sulzer product knowledge is a strong advantage

CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
